CDC Enterprise Agency is a member of North East Enterprise Agency Ltd., who provide a contract management function for CDC Enterprise Agency and with whom we share data in order to fulfil our contractual requirements. We may share any information that you give us with North East Enterprise Agency Ltd this includes your email address and telephone number.
CDC Enterprise Agency & North East Enterprise Agency Ltd may be in contact with you from time to time for the purpose of research or to promote a product or service which we feel may be of value to you.

What is the purpose of the data sharing initiative?
We share data with the North East Enterprise Agency Ltd (NEEAL) for the following purposes:
· Contract Management
· Research and Intelligence
· Marketing and Promotion
We hope that by sharing this information we can better support you and your business in getting the most effective support possible. We are often contractually obliged to share information where you have received support via a publicly funded contract (such as funded via Department of Work and Pensions, European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) or European Social Fund (ESF) .
Which other organisations will be involved in the data sharing?
Your agreement should clearly identify all the organisations that will be involved in the data sharing and should include contact details for their data protection officer (DPO) or another relevant employee who has responsibility for data sharing, and preferably for other key members of staff. It should also contain procedures for including additional organisations in the data sharing arrangement and for dealing with cases where an organisation needs to be excluded from the sharing.

We do not hold or share any special category data, sensitive data or criminal offence date.
What about access and individual rights?
You have a right to access any information that we hold about you and the right to object, request rectification and erasure. It Is the responsibility of all data controllers within this agreement to ensure compliance regarding access to your information and your aforementioned rights. The Chief Executive of CDC Enterprise Agency takes overall responsibility for ensuring that you can easily gain access to any of your personal data that has been shared.
In compliance with Article 26 of the UK GDPR and section 58 of the DPA 2018 for Part 3 processing require CDC Enterprise Agency is the contact point for questions about your data.
